Help Victoria Travel To Kenya
Every student doesn't get the opportunity to travel to Kenya But I will. My name is Victoria Simmons, a 20-year-old student at San Diego State University. I am a Child Development Major, double minoring in Interdisciplinary Studies and Counseling and Social Change. I’ve been a part of MGWG for about 3 years now. I joined when the organization was just created. It’s presented me with so many great opportunities and surrounded me with many inspiring black girls and women. To be able to attend this trip is an opportunity to serve my community and explore my culture. This trip also will allow me to gain more cultural competency by allowing me to leave the country for the first time. My favorite quote is “If you must look back do so forgivingly.
