Help Nya Travel To Kenya

Every student doesn't get the opportunity to travel to Kenya But I will. My name is Nya Neal, a 21-year-old student at Pepperdine University. I am a Publicist Studying Major, currently working on my real estate license and entering my senior year of college. I've been a member of Mor Girls With Goals since its founding. I am blessed to have experienced mentorship from Morgan Linson since middle school. Although my schedule has made it difficult to attend MGWG events. I have been at sleepovers, career fairs, and award ceremonies, and helped organize events to support the organization among other things. I plan on contributing full-time after college and helping MGWG reach more young women. I'm passionate about financial literacy and the advancement of black people in America. I believe Mor Girls With Goals is truly targeting the root of systemic issues in our communities; lack of education and mentorship of youth. It is important to me to be successful in my personal and academic life because I believe in the "reach one teach one" mantra. I want to go on a trip to Kenya to experience travel, the motherland, and network with powerful black women. I'm currently a resident advisor, full-time student, and part-time employee. Outside of my higher education, there is still so much for me to learn. I am looking forward to the opportunity to better myself. I believe that the experience I will gain from visiting a country rich in history and culture will be invaluable. One of the things that world travel offers young women is the opportunity to expand their knowledge base and share lessons with others. I've been interested in traveling to Africa since middle school. I'm excited to learn about the environment, practices, and history of Kenya so I can better serve in our community service initiatives. Supporting me today is supporting my future. Thank you in advance. No amount is too small or too large!
