Help Lyric Travel To Kenya
Every student doesn't get the opportunity to travel to Kenya But I will. Hello, my name is Lyric Williams. I'm 19 and I attend El Camino Community College. I have been in MGWG since it started. I love the opportunity to go on this trip because growing up I’ve heard about what Africa is like and I’ve always pictured it in my head. The music, the people, the food, all of the culture. And to be able to experience it firsthand, take it all in for myself, and not have to live through other people has been a dream of mine. I know this may be a bit unconventional but my favorite quote is “A question that sometimes drives me hazy, am I or are the others crazy” by Albert Einstein. I heard it once when I was around 8 years old and it stuck with me ever since. Supporting me today is supporting my future. Thank you in advance. No amount is too small or too large!
